Support for sustainability
Support is available to help NSW Government agencies implement the NSW Government Sustainability Policy. It includes support for:
- larger agencies to develop a comprehensive roadmap for environmental action through DECC’s Sustainability Advantage program
- Access to technical information to improve water and energy efficiency
- Access to funding to implement water and energy savings
- Rating government buildings using NABERS
- Measuring and reporting on sustainability performance
- Meeting waste, recycling and procurement targets
- Preparing Water and Energy Savings Action Plans
