Guide to licensing
The Guide to Licensing will help you determine whether you require an environment protection licence and provides other licensing information about:
- how and where to apply for a licence
- how much a licence costs
- what you may need to do even if you don't need a licence
The Guide to Licensing is divided into two parts:
- Guide to Licensing: Part A - a brief overview of the general licensing process, how it operates and what applicants need to know and provide when applying for an environment protection licence.
- Download Guide to Licensing: Part A - 08244guidetolicensingA.pdf (101 kb; requires Acrobat Reader)
- Guide to Licensing: Part B - appendices to Part A, containing schedules, tables and definitions extracted from various relevant environment protection legislation, especially, but not exclusively, the Protection of the Environment Operations Act 1997.
